And now for something completely different.
Hi friends! As y’all know, I’m a graphic designer when I’m not gallivanting around the country, so I figured I’d toss an update with some design work this way. The last few months, I’ve been working on a design concept for the NHL’s newest team based in Seattle. I created the team from square one, starting with the name: the Seattle Freeze.
From wikipedia: The term Seattle Freeze refers to a widely held belief that it is especially difficult to make new friends in the city of Seattle, Washington, particularly for transplants from other cities.
What better vision for a hockey team is there than one that doesn’t like anyone from other towns? I liked the concept and ran with it, building out a suite of logos, colors, type, uniforms, branding, and marketing guidelines, all of which can be found below. I had way too much fun working on it, so I hope you enjoy!
